The Design Process
CLIENT CONSULTATION
I began by meeting with the client from "Pro Pup Services" to understand their vision for their business card. They expressed their desire for a classic design reflecting their pet care and dog walking services, with the tagline "perfectly spoiled."
RESEARCH & INSPIRATION
To ensure the design aligned with industry trends and client expectations, I conducted brief research and gathered inspiration from various sources, including pet care businesses and modern business card designs.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Drawing from the client's brief and my research findings, I brainstormed several design concepts. Each concept aimed to blend classic elements with modern touches to create a visually appealing and functional business card.
COLOUR PALETTE SELECTION
Adhering to the clients vision of simplicity, I carefully selected a colour palette that conveyed professionalism and warmth, incorporating neutral tones of deep sage green and off white.
LAYOUT DESIGN
The layout of the business card was meticulously crafted with simplicity and professionalism in mind; with the front featuring the company name, logo, and tagline, while the back included essential contact details and additional information.
INTERGRATING MODERN FEATURES
To add a contemporary touch to the classic design, I decided to incorporate a QR code on the back of the card. This QR code, when scanned, seamlessly directs users to the company's "offered services page" on their website, enhancing accessibility and user experience.
CLIENT COLLABORATION & FEEDBACK
Throughout the design process, I collaborated closely with the client, providing them with two polished designs seeking their feedback and input. Any revisions or adjustments requested by the client were promptly implemented to ensure the final design met their vision and requirements.
FINALIZATION & DELIVERY
Once the design was finalized and approved by the client, I prepared the business card for printing using high-quality materials and recommended texture finishing to uphold the professionalism of "Pro Pup Services."
Through this collaborative and iterative design process, I created a timeless and functional business card for "Pro Pup Services," seamlessly blending classic aesthetics with modern features to effectively represent their brand.
